Fans of Chance the Rapper surprised on Wednesday night at release of his four new singles.


The songs — "Work Out," "Wala Cam," "65th and Ingleside" and "I Might Need Security" — are available on all streaming platforms.


Chance also announced that "I bought the Chicagoist just to run you racist (expletives) outta business,” he raps on the song, sharing an official statement about the acquisition with USA TODAY. "I’m extremely excited to be continuing the work of the Chicagoist, an integral local platform for Chicago news, events and entertainment," he says in the statement. "I look forward to re-launching it and bringing the people of Chicago an independent media outlet focused on amplifying diverse voices and content."

2 Day Bank Strike From Today. Salary Withdrawal and ATM Services May Get Hit

Banks, including State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Bank of Baroda (BoB), have already informed their customers that functioning of branches and offices will be impacted if the strike takes off. However, the functioning of private banks like ICICI, HDFC, Axis and Kotak Mahindra is expected to be normal except for delays in cheque clearance. Withdrawal and cash deposit in the branches of public sector banks would be affected.
"We urge our customers to make the maximum use of digital banking services like UPI, MahaMobile app, internet banking facilities for their transactions. We have ensured that our digital banking systems and ATMs (for those who need cash) are available at all times for the convenience of our customers," Ravindra P Marathe, MD of Bank of Maharashtra, was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

There are as many as 21 public sector banks that control 75 per cent of the total business in the country.

On May 5, the Indian Banks' Association offered 2 per cent hike which was rejected by unions calling it unjust. The Association refused to revise wages for all officers citing poor financial condition of banks. Large public sector banks had reported huge losses in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2018 owing to mounting bad loans.

Banking operations could be hit as employees of public sector banks go on a two-day nationwide strike starting from today.

India will add around 10 million jobs in the Travel & Tourism sector by 2028 according to a major new report by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). WTTC forecasts that the total number of jobs which are dependent in some form on Travel & Tourism will increase from 42.9 million in 2018 to 52.3 million in 2028.

India is currently the seventh largest Travel & Tourism economy in the world. Overall, the total contribution of the sector to the economy was INR15.2 trillion (US$234 billion) in 2017, or 9.4% of the economy once its direct, indirect and induced benefits are taken in to account. This is forecast to more than double to INR32 trillion (US$492 billion) by 2028.

Gloria Guevara, President & CEO, WTTC, said “Travel & Tourism creates jobs, drives economic growth and helps build better societies. This is particularly clear in India which is forecast to be one of the fastest-growing tourism economies in the world over the next decade adding 10 million jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars to the economy by 2028.

“There are some extremely proactive steps which have been introduced by the Government to increase the number of international visitors and to position itself as a destination of choice among travellers worldwide. Particularly, we recognise the introduction of e-Visa for 163 countries and the launch of Incredible India 2.0 Campaign with major improvement in the marketing and PR strategy.

“Looking to the future, India can strategically lead travel facilitation within the SAARC region by introducing a standard technological solution, modern technology and biometrics. This will enhance the travel and tourism economies in the region.

“While the country-wide change to GST is a welcome move, the Indian Government could consider looking again at the level of GST in the hospitality sector to make it more competitive with other countries in the region.

“The Indian aviation market is expanding with rapid advancement in connectivity within India. Indian airlines have booked 900 plus new aircrafts to add capacity and expand operations over next couple of years. However, airport capacity remains an issue, so we would recommend greater adoption of secondary airports across cities with multimodal connectivity between the existing and secondary ones for better passenger facilitation.

“We would also urge the public and private sectors to work together to prepare crisis management plans so the country is fully prepared with proper systems and processes in place, that can be deployed, should there be a crisis.

Foot Over Bridge dropped near Florida International University, 10 killed, many vehicles drowned : Miami

Miami: FOB (Foot Over Bridge) connecting Florida International University and Sweetwater in Miami has fallen. In this accident, 10 people were killed by the bridge.
Florida Senator Bill Nelson told CBS Miami television that the disaster management officials are searching for survivors by finding the debris and crushed vehicles on the busiest road in south Florida along with the search dogs.

On the other hand, officials and doctors told reporters that at least eight vehicles were stuck in the debris of the bridge and at least 10 people were taken to the hospital.

Great Scientist Stephen Hawking Is No More With Us

The great Scientist Dr. Stephen Hawking died on 14-Mar-2018, the world was tottaly conquered by this news. We lost such a great counscious mind that led the world in the sector of science and astronomy. Dr. Stephen was well known for their theory on Black holes. His book A Brief History of Time: From the Big Bang to Black Holes published in 1988. It has sold more than 10 million copies and inspired a documentary film by Errol Morris.

 

Dr Hawking died early Wednesday at his home in Cambridge, England. He was aged 76.

A university spokesman confirmed the death.

His own story was the basis of an award-winning 2014 feature film, “The Theory of Everything.” (Eddie Redmayne played Dr. Hawking and won an Academy Award.)

Plane Crash near Kathmandu Airport, At least 50 found Dead

Passenger plane crashed at Nepal's Kathmandu airport. According to the information received, the passenger plane of  US-Bangladesh Airlines was falling down when it got shaken, and suddenly the smoke started coming out and then it went to a football field near the airport.A total of 67 passengers and four crew members were boarded by the plane. The army is also engaged in relief and rescue work. Tribhuvan Airport spokesman Prem Nath Thakur said that more than 20 people were admitted to the hospital in the injured condition. Army and police was cutted off the plane and removed other passengers bodies.

 He said that this aircraft, which was run from Dhaka, was about to land in Kathmandu at 2:20 pm. However, while landing, the aircraft leaned on one side and there was a fire. After this he fell into the nearby football ground and fell.

In some pictures posted on social media, there seems to be a lot of smoke coming from the airport. According to officials, after the crash the airport has been closed.
